I am SUPER excited to share my first 'feature post' with you all. I think that it's always great to get opinions, tips and secrets from other people, and that's what I have decided to do. I made an open post with 3 questions on Instagram , for whichever ladies were willing to share with me, and here were their makeup secrets, finds and favourites. Enjoy!
MAKEUP FAVES:
Lauren: Bourjois mascara is the absolute bomb! I've tried a million different brands- expensive and fancy ones, gimmicky ones and el cheapos, but I keep coming back to this one. It's reasonably priced, excellent quality and it doesn't clump. I've got very sensitive eyes as well and this has never irritated my eyes. Plus- it really does it's job! I've got short, sparse eyelashes and it gives me volume and length without the hype!

Bourjois 1 second volume mascara (12ml) can be found at Clicks for R165.95. This mascara gives you bolder and voluminous lashes without clumps. It is waterproof and has been ophthalmologically tested.
Clarissa: I have just discovered BB cream from Garnier. It is great, affordable and doesn't make me breakout!

Garnier Skin Naturals BB cream (50ml) can be found at Clicks for R120.00. It gives you coverage for flawless, radiant and natural-looking skin while also moisturizing and offering UV protection.
Leah: My favourite mascara is the Essence Big Lashes. It's honestly better than Maybelline, L'oreal and the MAC that I have tried, for R50 it's beauty on a budget.

Essence Get Big Lashes volume curl mascara (12ml) can be found at Clicks for R49.95. This mascara volumises your lashes as well as curling them upwards to open your eyes. It has been ophthalmologically approved.
Courtney: My favourite product is Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer.

Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer (22ml) can be found on the Dermalogica website (www.dermalogica.co.za) for R850.00. It is light, non-greasy and ensures long-lasting makeup wear while hydrating and smoothing the skin and providing light coverage.
Megan: I really love how velvety Mark’s liquid lipstick is, it doesn’t dry out my lips but it’s still long-lasting.

Avon Mark Liquid Lip Lacquer Matte (7ml) is available from Avon representatives for R85.00. It sculpts and colours lips while giving a long-lasting matte lip finish that keeps your lips feeling hydrated.
Jovanka: I swear by the Essence long-lasting twist eyeliner pen. It's so smooth and literally takes me 2 minutes to put on because it is so easy to use. I hardly wear makeup but this is the best thing ever!
Leah: Essence long-lasting twist eyeliner pen is super long-lasting. If someone wears eyeliner then that is definitely the way to go.
Kaylee: I love the Essence long-lasting twist eyeliner pen because it does not need to be sharpened which makes it easy to take with and use you wherever you go.

Essence Pen Waterproof (1ml) can be found at Clicks for R59.95. It is waterproof and does not smudge easily. It is bold and long-lasting and has been ophthalmologically tested.
MAKEUP SECRETS & FINDS:
Manka: My secret is that I use a damp beauty blender and it leaves me looking flawless. I find all my pencils (eyebrows, eye and lip) at Chinese stores.
My favourite makeup brand is MAC, my skin loves it and it's been good to me for years. Especially their liquid foundations and lipsticks.
Kaylee: My beauty secret is to always make sure my lips and brows are on point. Good brows that frame your face and a pop of colour on the lips are key.
My favourite makeup brand is NYX. It is great value for money, the products are quality and they last a long time. NYX is available at selected Clicks stores.
