REVIEW: The "magic" makeup cloth.

Welcome to my first product review. I have been really excited to share this amazing product with you- the WOW Jude facial cloth, or as I like to call it- the 'magic" makeup cloth.

My routine of removing my makeup has always been using cotton pads with an eye makeup remover and cleanser, or more recently the use of makeup wipes. That was until my mom bought me a little present on her trip last week and introduced me to this facial cloth. At first I was skeptical because it says on the packaging " For general cleansing with warm water and just the facial cloth, NOTHING ELSE". Now, I don't know if you have tried removing makeup with just water and a normal facecloth- it's NOT easy. It hurts because facecloths can be rough and you have to pretty much scrub your face which doesn't end up getting everything off.

Anyways, I decided to give it a try and I was instantly amazed! Within 4 minutes I had soaked the cloth, wiped off ALL of my makeup and washed the cloth. It was easy and my skin felt weirdly fresh afterwards, because I am used to having "face wipe residue" left on my face. I also recently read a News24 review from a mom in which she used the cloth to successfully remove black permanent marker from her child's body after the child had decided to colour in her whole body- moms take note!

So this got me thinking: I no longer have to purchase makeup wipes, which both saves me money and reduces the amount of household waste that we produce. This also eliminates the use of any makeup remover products on my face that could have harmful chemicals and/or that could have been tested on animals.

These cloths are not available in Port Elizabeth but I have made inquiries to start bringing them in, so if you are interested then watch this space. Feel free to comment or ask any questions that you may have.
